This August, in my community, we have an annual fair. I’ve entered a few times, and have done well. This year, I’m narrowing down my entries to just three. I’ve done the afghan thing, the shawl thing, and the doll thing. This year, I’m doing three doll outfits. One knit, one crocheted and one sewn. Since my stroke, things have been harder for me to understand and do. So, I’m starting slow again.
I have a number of crochet patterns for doll outfits, and the hardest thing is to find one that I love to do, and I haven’t entered before. Knit and sewn clothes are a little harder. These will be new things for me to do and learn.
I think this all started from my recent research into medieval dolls, and how they were made. Heh … this year, I think I’m going to have a 10th birthday party for myself with a dolly theme.
Anyway, expect some fun in the near future, about these dolls!
