Today, I was lucky enough to go to Fibres West 2025 with two very dear friends. Didn’t get many photos – read: I only took one photo, as I was too busy shopping and seeing friends I hadn’t seen in a long time.
One of my high school friends has a sister who owns her own yarn store up north, and she was there today, along with my friend. I spent a fair amount at her stall, and now have the beautiful yarn for my travel shawl per Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Travel Shawl.
I’m working my way through The Knitter’s Almanac, and in May I will be doing two long plane rides. Her Travel Shawl for July fits the bill for my knitting quite nicely. So, I’m making July’s project in May, and May’s in July.
But, since it’s almost midnight right now, and it’s been a long day of walking and peopling. Tomorrow, I’ll be knitting and relaxing all day. My body will be so stiff LOL
